How long does the application process take?

Applications typically take between 1 and 3 days to process.  Special arrangements can be made to expedite the process when requested and/or needed.

What is the application fee?

An application fee of $35 is required to cover the cost of credit and background checks.  

How soon can I move in after the lease is signed?

If unoccupied at the time, guests may move into their new doSh furnished home immediately upon signing the lease and providing 1st month's rent and security deposit.

Who do I talk to for maintenance issues?

Our homes are well maintained to provide our guests with a worry and hassle free experience, but we know that sometimes unforeseen problems do arise.  To ensure a pleasant stay with us, each of our guests is provided with the direct cell phone number of a degreed engineer who will respond within 12 hours of a text or call, any time of the day.

What furnishings are included?

Each furnished doSh home rental is equipped with everything we could think of to make your stay just as comfortable as home.  We provide furniture, dishes, glassware, utensils, countertop appliances, bedsheets, towels, an iron, vacuum cleaner, and more.  Soap and shampoo are even provided for short term stays.  Contact us with any additional questions about what you can expect to find when you arrive.

Shadyside is Pittsburgh's most desirable community to live in.  It's packed with things to do, and very centrally located.  The following list provides the approximate drive times to other popular Pittsburgh destinations.
  • Downtown Pittsburgh:  15 minutes
  • Pittsburgh International Airport:  35 minutes
  • Oakland:  7 minutes
  • Mount Washington:  20 minutes
  • Lawrenceville:  10 minutes
  • Southside:  16 minutes

Is smoking allowed?

Sorry smokers; we'd love to have you, but we do not allow smoking in our homes.  

Do you allow pets?

Pet policies vary by property. Many of our homes are pet-friendly, but we recommend discussing your pet situation with us so we can match you with an appropriate property.
